Arrival on Tivat airport where you take over the rent-a-car. You drive to the North following the scenic road to Ostrog monastery close to Nikšić town. This orthodox monastery was built on unbelievable place, high up in the mountain rock with breath taking views on the valley and surrounding hills. The constructor of the monastery St Basil of Ostrog (St. Vasilije) is the greatest saint of the Serbian Orthodox religion. His relics are believed to have healing powers for those who touch it. You can enjoy the overwhelming tranquillity of this place and visit the miracle vine growing out of the stone.
The road leads you further north to Žabljak and the National park of Durmitor.

Beautiful mountains of Durmitor are the real example why Montenegro carries the name ‘black mountains’. There are more then 40 mountain peaks of over 2000m hight, 18 beautiful glacier lakes spread all over the mountain called the Mountain Eyes with range of color from light blue to dark blue and green, which can be reached by many hiking trails. There are miles of dark pine forests all around. It’s interesting to know that these forests are the last virgin pine forests in Europe It is paradise for hikers and nature lovers, as it abounds in hiking trails for the beginners and extreme athlets leading to fantastic viewpoints and lakes. You can enjoy an easy level hiking trail leading to 4 fantastic lakes (cca 5-6 hours total), each placed in unique environment among the pine trees. Or you can choose a more demanding hiking trail to Škrčka lakes (1686m altitude) with an altitude range of 700m. Or to the fantastic Eis cave (2160m altitude) which stays eised inside thoughout the year. For these hiking trails an extra guide is required, which can be arranged.

Tara river is the clearest river in Europe known as the „Tears of Europe“. The crystal intense colours of water and fantastic greenery will enchant you at first sight. Rafting is a team activity which will strengthen your team spirit as all participants in the boat have to paddle simultaneously in order to steer the boat. Its adrenalin high activity where you can face the river rapids, jump from a 6m high cliff and enjoy an unique hidden waterfall in the green woods of the river.
The road to the rafting camp in Šćepan polje is also an attraction for itself leading you through the beautiful Durmitor scenery with fantastic views from the high peaks of the mountain. You pass by picturesque villages, meadows and pastures. There are plenty of spots where you will be drawn to stop and enjoy the landscape.
After exhausting rafting you will enjoy a traditional lunch at the camp restaurant with view on the canyon.

Trebinje is lovely town often called "the city of sun and platan trees“. It is situated in the valley on the banks of Trebišnjica river, which flows through the very heart of the town and which was ones known for enormous old mills spread along its banks. Trebinje is today economic and cutural center of the East Herzegovina.
The first stop is Crkvina Hill, where you have definitely the best view on the whole town, the river and all the bridges, including an old Arslanagića bridge originating from the Otoman period. Its interesting to know that the bridge was moved stone by stone from a nearby village to Trebinje in order to complete the historic map of the town.
However the dominating building on the hill is the orthodox monastery Herzegovačka Gračanica. Although it was built recently it is a true replica of the famous Gračanica monastery in Kosovo & Metohija (from 14. C). This monastery as constructed following a dying wish of the famous serbian poet born in Trebinje, Jovan Dučić. He died in the USA but wanted to be buried in this place with looking out to the whole town. His grave is today within the monastery walls. There is also a beautiful restaurant on the hills slope where you can furhter enjoy the great views.
Old town of Trebinje originating back from the 12th c experienced various reigns from Byzantium, Serbian ruler family Nemanjići to the Ottoman Empire and finally Austria-Hungary. Each of the nations left its marks on the old town culture and appearance. Among the small narrow stone cobbled streets you can see the Sahat-kula (clock tower), Kastel fortress, Osman Pasha Mosque (18c) and on the main square the Catholic Cathedral
The local market on the main town square under the high platan trees is special attraction. The locals bring there their domestic products to sell. So you can find there the whole array of organic products like cheese, fruit, vegetables, honey and also tobacco.
Endless vineyards in Trebinje area and great wine made for centuries brought Trebinje to the world wine road map. There are many family run wineries where you can taste a good wine. Some of them stood out for their quality and dedication to wine growing and created a great wine story with restaurants and wine cellars. As part of this program we take you to a lunch in the special wine gallery, where you can enjoy all the elements of wine pared with adequate meals made of local ingridients.
In the evening you can make a pleasant walk and visit some of the cafe terraces on the river banks.

After breakfast you are heading to the Adriatic coast, the Bay of Kotor. In approximately an hour you reach the coastal road leading around the Bay through the small settlements of Zelenika, Kumbor, Bijela, Morinj etc.
The Bay of Kotor also known as „pearl of the Adria“ has the exquisite beauty coming from the step limestone mountains rising up around it which give a certain dark colour to the bay waters. Plenty of small places are scattered along the bay coast. The Bay is rich in cultural and historical monuments, and many traces and influences of over 4 centuries long Venetian reign. Its great experience to drive the road around the Bay.
On your way you are passing a small coastal town Risan where you can see the ancient Roman mosaics, preserved in a family house from the 3rd century. Further down is Perast, picturesque place where the huge economic and cultural development back in 17th century is visible today in many stone palaces and churches. The pearl of the Bay is certainly the artificial island with church just in front of Perast, our Lady of the Rock, built upon a legend back in 17c.
The most interesting and certainly essential for visit is the old town of Kotor, listed into UNESCO world heritage. Many different reigns throughout the centuries influenced the culture and architecture, which is visible today in old palaces, churches and squares of the old town. You can visit the Maritime Museum , showing the whole history of Kotor and also very beautiful St Triphon's cathedral (13 c), great example of Romanesque architecture.
In the afternoon you have a chance to explore the Bay from the sea by paddling along the coast through into the sunset. There are plenty of small pears, tiny beaches, cafes and restaurants directly at the sea water, where you can stop for swimming of just enjoy the sea.

This is the day for you to visit and enjoy the charms of pure nature on Luštica peninsula. Its one of the few places where you can still find old coastal villages unchanged for almost 100 years, many areas of untouched nature, small coves and beaches with crystal clear water just calling you to jump in. Its a perfect gateaway from the crowded cities and everyday hussle.
Some villages though have been constructed and turned into elite sea front settlements. Also the luxurious settlement of Luštica Bay with 5 star Chedi hotel, high class villas, yacht marine and staurants have picked this place for the elite clients.
The best way to explore and enjoy Luštica is by cycling down the small village roads, through the villages, passing the olive groves and small gardens. Specially if you have E-bikes then it seems you fly over the beautiful places. The most astonishing area the splendid views on the Bays of Kotor and Herceg Novi from the road that you are driving.
There are many places where you can leave your bike and just spend some time swimming, like in Rose – small coastal village at the very top of the peninsula. Also the small coves like Žanjice beach, Mirište or hidden Uvala Veslo. You can also encounter to some old Austrian fortresses from the reign of Austria-Hungary back in 18th c located on good view points to survey the area.

Budva is very attractive summer holiday destination, whose coast is adorned with around 20 beautiful beaches and therefore well known as metropolis of Montenegrin tourism. You can choose among the sandy beaches of St. Stefan, Kamenovo, Jaz or Mogren and have a leisure day enjoying the sun and the sea.
Budva old town is also the oldest settlement at the Montenegrin part of the coast, built by the ancient Greeks. There are funds found in the necropolis outside the todays city walls, which testify of different periods and culture and are exhibited in a small Archaeological museum in the old town.
After a relaxed day at the beach, you can use the evening to take a walk through the old town and have a dinner or just a drink in one of many local restaurants.
